CROSSRAIL EAST (ANGLIA) – LINE OF ROUTE AND STATIONS Client: Costain Value: £24m Location: Crossrail East Duration: 3 years We undertook major infrastructure improvement works to upgrade the existing line of route, railway systems and civil support for overhead electrification equipment as well as extra train stabling capacity and turn back facilities. GRIP 5 engineering was provided to the North-East surface section of the Crossrail route, between Stratford in East London and Shenfield in Essex. The works included station platform installation, lift shafts, bridge construction, lineside cable route management systems and depot works.
